Marendaz is a progressive accountancy, taxation and business consultancy firm. The business began as a traditional tax practice in 1990 in Melbourne’s far northern suburbs. Phil Marendaz joined in 2005 and took over the business in 2010, transforming it into a practice that delivers a full range of accounting, tax compliance and business consultancy services across Australia.

Over 40 years as a practicing accountant and commercial manager, Phil Marendaz saw the many mistakes people made in using inappropriate structures in their business, and the frustration which resulted.
He is dedicated to developing and implementing the strategies necessary to build and manage businesses and individual wealth. With particular experience in the industry and commerce sectors, Phil has spent a large part of his career involved with assessing acquisitions, business planning and consulting, and company restructuring. Unique in the accounting industry, Phil’s spirited pursuit of better business practice has changed the lives and businesses of many of his clients.
Phil has a strong connection to community and is a Director of the Bendigo Community Bank, President of the local Traders Association, has been a long-term Rotary member and has sat on the Economic Advisory Panel for Nillumbik Shire Council.
